Vodafone Idea follows Airtel; increases prepaid plans mobile tariff

Vodafone Idea has increased the prices of its prepaid plans. The announcement comes just a day after Airtel increased prices of its prepaid plans by up to 25%. The move is aimed to improve ARPU (average revenue per user), which is the amount that a telecom company earns per subscriber a month. The new tariffs will come into effect starting November 26, the same day when Airtel's new prices go live.
