Bharti Airtel has announced a cashback of Rs 6,000 for customers who purchase a new phone that costs up to Rs 12,000 from known brands under the ‘Mera Pehla Smartphone’ program. There are over 150 phones listed at the moment for customers to avail the cashback offer. This comes amidst the festive season sale on e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart (Diwali Sale starting soon). Airtel says that if a customer is opting for a device that is priced at Rs 6,000, they would still get full cashback but by the end of three years. In addition to the cashback, customers can also avail of a free Wynk Music subscription and 30 days trial of Amazon Prime Video Mobile Edition.

“Smartphones are now a basic need, especially in the post-pandemic world, as customers look at access to a range of services digitally. As millions of customers across India aspire for a quality smartphone for a good online experience, our ambition is to make it easier for them to own the device of their choice. How to avail Airtel Rs 6,000 cashback?
For customers who wish to avail of the cashback, one needs to recharge with an Airtel prepaid pack of at least Rs 249 or above continuously (as per pack validity) for 36 months. Customers will receive the cashback two times: the first installment of Rs 2,000 after 18 months and Rs 4,000 after 36 months. The program also entitles users to a one-time free screen replacement by Servify in case of damage, which adds a cost-benefit of up to Rs 4,800. Through the Airtel Thanks app, the screen replacement offer will be enrolled to customers once they are on an eligible recharge pack within 90 days period, according to the company.
