The upcoming iPhone SE 2022 model, tentatively named as iPhone SE 3, may finally get 5G capabilities. As previously mentioned, the iPhone SE 3 should come with an upgraded chipset and 5G connectivity. According to the Japan-based Macotakara blog, the device will use the same iPhone SE 2020 design and dimensions. This means that the smartphone will have a 4.7-inch LCD display with huge top and bottom bezels. The legendary Touch ID-cum-Home Button combo is also expected to be retained as well as an aluminum frame.
There could be some changes too, with the third-gen iPhone SE finally getting 5G connectivity. Also, the iPhone SE 2022 aka iPhone SE 3 could get the A15 chipset and the Qualcomm Snapdragon X60 5G modem as seen in the iPhone 13 series. However, some sources also suggest that Apple may use the A14 Bionic chipset, found on the iPhone 12 series to make the device more cost-effective.

The iPhone SE 3 is expected to launch in the spring of 2022, likely in March or April much like when the iPhone SE 2020 was launched. The device should also make it to the Indian market.
