OnePlus 9RT is scheduled to debut in China on October 13th and the company has officially revealed several key specifications ahead of its unveiling. The handset will arrive as a slightly tweaked version of the standard OnePlus 9 series from earlier this year. Now, while we wait for the announcement, OnePlus has confirmed some more key features of the handset, such as the powerful cooling chamber, a whopping 600Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 7GB virtual RAM for better multitasking. These are significant upgrades from the OnePlus 9R.
OPnePlus 9RT is confirmed to ship with a large vapour cooling sink that is claimed to dissipate heat over an area of 19,067.44 mm². This means, it should be one of the most efficient liquid cooling systems on a OnePlus phone and can be comparable to the likes of tablets. The system is said to include a vapour chamber and even offer multiple layers of graphene and the metal frame is also expected to help with the heat dissipation.
The handset is also confirmed to come with a 600Hz touch sampling rate — thereby making it the highest on a OnePlus phone to date. It even has support for extremely low screen latency. Additionally, there’s 7GB of virtual RAM for better multitasking. The phone is expected to come with up to 12GB of RAM, which means the top-end variant will effectively offer up to 19GB of RAM.
OnePlus 9RT specifications
OnePlus 9RT is already confirmed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G mobile chipset paired with Adreno 660 GPU. It is said to pack up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. It sports a 6.55-inch FHD+ E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 600Hz touch sampling rate, and punch-hole cutout. The phone runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 12 custom skin out of the box and packs a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support.
As for the cameras, the OnePlus 9RT packs triple cameras on the back, with a 50MP primary Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8MP or 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro/monochrome lens. It has a 16MP lens on the front for selfies and video chats and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

OnePlus 9RT price (rumoured)
The OnePlus 9RT 5G price in China is tipped to be between CNY 2,000 and CNY 3,000, which roughly translates to between Rs 23,000 and Rs 34,000.
