Redmi Note 9T is set to launch globally today as quite possibly the last phone in the Redmi 9 series. Xiaomi is holding an online event which can be live-streamed through the company’s official YouTube channel. Redmi Note 9T price and specifications were leaked earlier this week, while the company has officially teased the design of the smartphone. This gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect and it seems the upcoming smartphone is a global variant of the Redmi Note 9 5G that was launched in China. Here’s a quick look at how you can watch the Redmi Note 9T launch event live and its expected specs and price.

Redmi Note 9T specifications (expected)
Redmi Note 9T specs are widely expected to be similar to the Redmi Note 9 5G China variant. A leak earlier this week revealed official-looking product specs, which revealed that the phone will come with a 6.53-inch FHD+ DotDisplay with dual speakers for a stereo effect. The smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset that comes equipped with a 5G modem.
Redmi Note 9T features a circular rear camera module that will house three camera sensors and an LED flash. The main camera will use a 48MP sensor, while the other two cameras could be an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. The Redmi Note 9T may come with a 5,000mAh battery and 18W fast charging support. The global model will also support NFC, based on leaked information.
Redmi Note 9T price (expected)
According to an Amazon.de listing, the Redmi Note 9T price will be 229.90 euro (approx 20,600) for the model with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The 4GB + 128GB variant may cost 269.90 euro (approx Rs 24,100). There is no word yet on the Redmi Note 9T India launch, but seeing as how the company has already launched eight Redmi 9-series phones in the country, we won’t count out the Redmi Note 9T just yet.
