Samsung Galaxy M12 launch seems to be getting closer and closer as the smartphone has been receiving several important certifications this month. The device was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG website earlier this month and it also received the BIS certification, which suggested its launch in India. Now, the Samsung Galaxy M12 has passed through the FCC certification website in the US, which means it may go official soon enough. The FCC website does not reveal anything that we didn’t already know about the smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy M12 with model number SM-M127F has shown up on the FCC website as a “phablet” although past reports suggest the device will come with a typical smartphone display size. The entry-level smartphone only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, according to the FCC website. Beyond this, not much else has been revealed about the Samsung Galaxy M12.
Last month, the Samsung Galaxy M12 design was revealed through renders posted by tipster OnLeaks. The images show that the smartphone will sport a waterdrop Infinity-V display and a 6.5-inch screen size. The handset will feature a dual-tone rear panel with a textured upper part and a glossy lower. There will be a square-shaped camera module that houses four camera sensors, a Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a single speaker grille.
Samsung Galaxy M12 specifications were spotted on Geekbench earlier this month, which revealed that the phone will come with Samsung’s own Exynos 850 chipset paired with 3GB RAM. The phone was benchmarked running Android 11 OS. This is everything we know about the Samsung Galaxy M12 at the moment. Since the phone has received the FCC certification, we can expect it to launch in the US soon.
