Xiaomi 12 series, comprising Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X, and Xiaomi 12 Pro, is expected to launch on December 28th but ahead of the official unveiling, a real-life image of the alleged Xiaomi 12 has leaked online and reveals the rear camera design of the smartphone. The live image of the alleged Xiaomi 12, shared on Weibo, shows that the handset will feature three cameras at the back. As can be seen from the image, the cutout for the primary sensor seems to be significantly larger than the other two cutouts. This means that the primary camera will allow more light in while capturing shots, which could result in impressive low-light performance.
As you can see from the image, besides the triple rear cameras, there are cutouts for the flash and microphone modules as well. Overall, the rear panel’s design resembles the design of Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro, which were launched last year.
Xiaomi 12 expected specifications
Xiaomi 12 has been tipped to feature a curved screen with a centrally-placed punch-hole for the selfie camera. The phone is expected to offer an FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. As far as optics are concerned, Xiaomi 12 is expected to sport a 50MP primary camera but details regarding other sensors are unknown at the moment. The phone is expected to support 120W fast charging and feature an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
