Samsung Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition) launch seems to finally be around the corner as a new hands-on video from YouTuber (Concept Creator) shows off a live mock-up sample of the rear panel that will come on the upcoming smartphone. Jermain Smit, the YouTuber, appears on the video to show this back panel mocked up on the frame of a Samsung Galaxy S10. While it’s not exactly “hands-on,” it does give us an idea of how large its rear and back design should be. The back panel of the FE mock-up does feature the integrated camera bump from the original Galaxy S21 series, which was launched at the beginning of this year. But it’s worth noting that the camera bump of the unreleased phone is shown to be of plastic, which could mean that the upcoming smartphone will have a plastic rear panel.
Previously, tipster Roland Quandt (@rquandt) showed off some images of the rear panel of the Galaxy S21 FE. The tweet has images of the back panel in four colours — Cream, Grey, Pink, and White. At the bottom of the panel, there is a Samsung logo with the standard bunch of regulatory labels. The above YouTube video reiterates the same. The back panel’s dimensions are somewhat similar to the Samsung Galaxy S10. At least they’re close enough for the Galaxy S21 FE back panel to almost fit perfectly onto the frame of the Galaxy S10, as seen in the video.
Smit also claimed he’ll have more internal Galaxy S21 FE components coming in, including the camera modules. Once those are in, he will be able to give a deeper analysis on what parts will be included and what it could mean for the final prototype of the product.
