Infinix has been pushing launches for the past few months, but with no 5G smartphone in sight. However, the company may finally be shifting gears and readying to launch its first 5G smartphone. The phone’s key specifications and design have been leaked in a video by YouTube creator Tech Arena24. Apart from the specs and design, we also
According to Tech Arena24, the Infinix Zero 5G will be the company’s first 5G smartphone. The model number will be X6815 and it will be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 900 5G SoC. This is quite a significant bump up in horsepower compared to their older smartphones. Not only that, the YouTuber has claimed that the smartphone will sport a 120Hz Super AMOLED display, which, if true, would also make it stand apart from the competition.
As per the renders shared by the YouTuber, the Infinix Zero 5G will have a triple camera setup, which is arranged in a square-shaped module and is very reminiscent of the OPPO Find X3 Pro’s camera design. It is accompanied by two flash modules that may be for warm and cool light adjustment. The camera details have not yet been revealed at the time of publishing.
The front of the Infinix Zero 5G has a regular hole punch display at the center, with thin bezels surrounding the frame. We can assume the phone will be a mid-range offering, so it will have a plastic frame and a plastic back. The phone should have base configuration of 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage, but we can only speculate at this moment.
The phone is expected to launch in December and may launch with Android 11 out of the box. More details will be revealed as and when the launch nears, so stay tuned.
