Huawei has launched yet another model in the Nova 8 series in China. The company has unveiled the Nova 8 SE 4G, which is the third in the line-up after Nova 8 SE Youth and the Nova 8 SE 5G; the company had also launched another variant of the Nova 8 SE 5G, which came equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset. The newly launched Nova 8 SE 4G is a 4G-only smartphone and is powered by the older Kirin 710A SoC. It looks like the phone will only be available in China for now. Let’s take a look at its specifications and features.

Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G specifications

The Nova 8 SE is a mid-range smartphone that runs an older Kirin 710A processor. That’s not really a problem because the chipset can definitely offer decent performance for day-to-day tasks. The chipset is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, the phone doesn’t get a microSD card, which is a bummer. The phone runs HarmonyOS 2 UI out of the box.

Coming to the other specifications, you get a 6.5-inch OLED panel that features a teardrop notch. The display offers FHD+ resolution, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and DCI-P3 color gamut support.

The notch houses a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. On the back, the new Huawei Nova 8 SE comes with a quad-rear camera setup that has a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and dual 2-megapixel sensors for depth and macro effects.

Finally, the Nova 8 SE 4G houses a 3,800mAh battery, which supports 66W fast charging. The phone also gets a heat dissipation system, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C port, and has a slim design.

Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G price and availability

The Huawei Nova 8 SE carries a price tag of RMB 2,099 in China, which is roughly around Rs 25,600. However, you shouldn’t expect the brand to launch it in the Indian market anytime soon. The smartphone will be available in four color options, namely Black, White, Silver, and Blue in the Chinese market.
