OnePlus has rolled out the Open Beta for Android 12 on the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro. This comes soon after the Pixel devices received their updates and OnePlus is letting its users take a plunge into the Android 12 world before the official stable build goes live later. Worry not, those aren’t the only devices the Chinese smartphone manufacturer will be pushing the update to. OnePlus will soon be rolling out the OxygenOS 12 based on the Android 12 update in a phase-wise manner for its older devices. Users in regions across North America, India, and Europe have already started receiving these updates.
The release of the will first roll out in a smaller batch of devices at which stage it will spend a couple of weeks. After the nascent phase terminates, the new update will be pushed out onto a larger set of OnePlus users. As of now, a total of 13 smartphones have been featured on OnePlus’s list of phones that will be receiving the OxygenOS 12, which includes both mid-range and flagship devices.

It is good to note that OnePlus has not yet confirmed the timeline for the update roll-out but claims that the enlisted devices will be receiving the OxygenOS 12 update based on Android 12 at some point in the future. The flagship lineup of OnePlus devices starting from the OnePlus 7 will be receiving the update:
- OnePlus 7
- OnePlus 7 Pro
- OnePlus 7T
- OnePlus 7T Pro
- OnePlus 8
- OnePlus 8 Pro
- OnePlus 8T
- OnePlus 9
- OnePlus 9 Pro
- OnePlus 9R
Moreover, the mid-range OnePlus Nord line of smartphones will also be served the update:
- OnePlus Nord
- OnePlus Nord CE
- OnePlus Nord 2
One can notice that OnePlus hasn’t included the OnePlus Nord N-line phones in the list. Meanwhile, OnePlus 6 series and older models will not be getting Android 12.
