Yesterday, Google announced the Android 12 stable build and alongside that, it opened the gates for the Android manufacturers to start teasing the arrival of their respective Android 12-based custom skins. Realme, being one of them, has officially confirmed that it will unveil its brand new Realme UI 3.0 in the Indian market (as well as in the global market) in October. The brand has also confirmed that the Realme GT series devices will be the first amongst the brand’s plethora of smartphones to receive Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0.
Realme GT Neo2 to come with Realme UI 3.0 out of the box?
While nowhere near an official confirmation, there is a possibility that the brand’s upcoming Realme GT Neo2 in India could come with Realme UI 3.0 out of the box. If not, since it is a GT-series handset, it should still be among the first in line to receive the Android 12 update.
As far as what features we can expect in Realme UI 3.0 are concerned, there is little information available as of now, but we can expect it to feature (most of) the good stuff Android 12 has in store, including the new interface elements, icons, layouts, and, most importantly, Material You design.
For now, this is pretty much all the information that we have on the upcoming Realme UI 3.0, but we will make sure to keep you posted on the same if and when we receive any more intel on the same. On a side note, a poster claiming that Realme would unveil its Realme UI 3.0 on October 13 has also popped up on the internet. We cannot confirm the legitimacy of the poster because there has been no mention of this poster by the brand so far. Plus, the text on the poster (will be launched on 13.Oct) is a bit, well, weird, for the lack of a better word.
Nevertheless, the date more or less coincides with the earlier rumours surrounding the India launch date of the Realme GT Neo2 and it seems likely that the brand might unveil its newest skin, as well as its newest GT-series device at the same event.
