The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 will come with an under-display front-facing camera, and this has been confirmed through some alleged leaked images. In October last year, a report stated that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 would be the first foldable device to feature an under-display camera. Now, we have some leaked photos that showcase the upcoming foldable phone from Samsung. The South Korean giant recently confirmed that it would be releasing at least three foldable phones this year, and skip the Galaxy Note series.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 design
The leaked images are screenshots of unreleased marketing material for the Galaxy Z Fold 3, and they confirm some of the features. We can also see that Samsung has slightly changed the design of the product, and not used the familiar Galaxy S21 series camera module. One of the images shows the inside of the Galaxy Z Fold 3, and you can see that there’s no camera cutout or notch of any sort. The marketing material says ‘It’s the first foldable with Under Display Camera’ as previously rumoured.
The images also confirm that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 will offer support for the S Pen. One of the images shows the S Pen being used to take notes while on a video call meeting. The phone will reportedly come with a hybrid S-Pen with a soft tip so as to not damage the internal display.
Finally, the last image reveals the rear design of the phone, and you can see that it has a triple rear camera setup housed inside a pill-shaped module.
As you can see, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 has a new rear camera design, unlike the one found on the Galaxy S21 series. Samsung has also apparently added a new Armor to the internal display, the bezels, and the hinge, so as it protects it better. On the outside, the phone will feature Gorilla Glass Victus. According to various reports, Samsung is expected to unveil the new foldable phone in July.
