Highlights
  • The Vivo X60 Pro+ specifications have been leaked via a JD.com listing
  • It shows that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC

The Vivo X60 Pro+ launch is expected in late January after being subject to a number of leaks, including a new 3C certification that revealed 55W charging. The smartphone was teased at the December 2020 launch of the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro. Now, Chinese retail giant JD.com has posted three teaser images shedding some light on the smartphone’s specifications. The first image features the Qualcomm logo with an 8 peeking through, indicating the phone might be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC. The second image shows a camera and the third image shows what appears to be a lens. The listing also mentions the phone will come in 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB configurations.

The JD.com Vivo X60 Pro+ listing also confirms the colour options Vivo X60 Pro+ will be offered in: Deep Ocean Blue and Classic Orange. Additionally, the listing is also peppered with some ambiguous terms such as ‘fast chipset’, ‘excellent low light performance’, ‘high-quality audio’, and ‘new OS’.

Vivo X60 Pro+ specifications

Leaks indicate the Vivo X60 Pro+ will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor, the Snapdragon 888, paired with up to 12GB RAM. In comparison, the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro feature Samsung’s Exynos 1080 chipset. The Pro+ model is also expected to have 5G support, a display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and run Android 11 out of the box.

The Vivo X60 Pro+ is also expected to feature 55W fast charging and ZEISS-certified lenses. The ‘Classic Orange’ colour option is likely to feature a vegan leather back, while the ‘Deep Ocean Blue’ variant will probably have a glossy back. Renders of the smartphone leaked on Weibo point towards a quad-camera setup at the back oriented vertically, a punch-hole cutout at the front for a single selfie camera, and curved sides.
