Realme Race launch is imminent and it will be the company’s first flagship smartphone for 2021. So far, the company has not announced a launch date yet and there is no word on whether the smartphone will launch in India. Last month, Realme VP Xu Qi Chase teased key Realme Race specifications and design. The phone will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and 64MP quad cameras. Now, tipster Ice Universe has provided a few more interesting details regarding the Realme Race specs on Weibo.

Realme Race specs tipped

First spotted by MySmartPrice, the Weibo post by tipster Ice Universe reveals that Reame Race specifications will include a 5,000mAh battery, Snapdragon 888 chipset, and 12GB RAM. Notably, the smartphone will also come with 125W ultra-fast charging support, which will juice up the device in just minutes.

The leak also includes an image of the phone that looks like the OPPO Ace 2. In fact, the tipster separately claimed that the Realme Race is an enhanced version of the OPPO Ace 2 that launched in China. If the Realme phone is a rebrand of the Ace 2, we can speculate that it will come with a circular rear camera module and a hole-punch display.

Realme Race launch date is yet to be announced, but considering the company announced it would be among the first to launch a Snapdragon 888-powered device, we expect the Race to go official later this month. Xiaomi has already launched the Mi 11 with the flagship chipset, while Vivo sub-brand iQOO announced the iQOO 7 flagship phone on Monday. We expect to learn more about the Realme Race launch in the days to come.
