[Exclusive] iPad Pro 2021 12.9-inch design revealed through CAD-based renders

Highlights
  • CAD-based renders confirm iPad Pro 2021 12.9-inch design
  • The tablet will flaunt slim bezels around the screen, Face ID sensors above the display, and a square-shaped rear camera module
  • iPad Pro 2021 could be 5G-capable and rock the A14 Bionic chipset

iPad Pro 2021 release date, specs, and price may remain a mystery at the moment, but not its design. 91mobiles has received exclusive CAD-based renders of Apple’s upcoming flagship tablet from a trusted source who wishes to remain anonymous, and it looks like the device will look exactly the same as last year’s iPad Pro 2020. The renders confirm iPad Pro 2021 12.9-inch model’s design, which will include squared-off edges with thinner bezels around the screen and squarish camera module at the back. There will be Face ID sensors above the screen for security. The top edge of the tablet will highlight a power button, which may or may not include Touch ID, much like the iPad Air 4

It seems the iPad Pro 2021 will also employ a quad-speaker system and a dual rear camera setup with LED flash, LiDAR sensor, and microphone, just like its predecessor. There will be magnetic pins at the back for Apple’s keyboard. In addition to this, the right spine of the iPad Pro 2021 will flaunt the Apple pencil charging strip along with the volume buttons. The bottom-edge will most likely flaunt USB Type-C port sandwiched in between speaker grilles. That’s all the iPad Pro 2021 CAD-based renders reveal in terms of design.

As stated above, there is no word on iPad Pro 2021 specifications right now. However, it’s rumoured that the tablet may come with the latest A14 Bionic chipset, which is the brain behind the iPhone 12 series and iPad Air 2020 as well. The iPad Pro 2021 is also expected to be the first 5G tablet from the brand.
