Vivo V2049A model has appeared on China’s 3C certification website, which reveals the phone’s charging capabilities and 5G support. The model is expected to belong to the iQOO 7 series. The certification website also suggests that the iQOO 7 5G launch in China may not be too far and it could happen in early 2021. Notably, the listing reveals that the iQOO 7 5G will come with a whopping 120W fast charging support as we see the mention of 20V/6A maximum charging output. This isn’t surprising considering the iQOO 5 Pro also supports 120W fast charging. Additionally, the 3C listing reveals that the upcoming smartphone will support 5G connectivity.

Vivo sub-brand iQOO launched the iQOO 5 and iQOO 5 Pro in China in August and the successors are logically expected to be called the iQOO 6 and 6 Pro, but tipster Digital Chat Station claims they will be part of the iQOO 7 series instead. Beyond the 3C certification site, not much else is known about the iQOO 7 and iQOO 7 Pro at the moment.
Meanwhile, the iQOO 5 and iQOO 5 Pro were launched in August with a premium design language that included a hole-punch display and glass body finish. The iQOO 5 Pro features a 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The phone is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 865 chipset paired with 12GB RAM. The phone packs a 4,000mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging. Meanwhile, the vanilla iQOO 5 gets most of the same specs as the Pro model but gets a bigger 4,500mAh battery and slower 55W charging support.
