After exclusively reporting that the Samsung Galaxy Tab M62 tablet is in the works as the company’s first M-series tablet, 91mobiles has now learned from sources familiar with the development that the device’s production has begun in India. The Samsung Galaxy Tab M62 production is underway at the company’s facility in Greater Noida. While the Samsung phone with model number SM-M625F was initially reported as a smartphone, we learned that it is in fact a compact tablet (or phablet), called the Samsung Galaxy Tab M62.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab M62 will be the first tablet in the Galaxy M series and will join the company’s existing Galaxy Tab A series and Galaxy Tab S series. There is no word yet on the Samsung Galaxy Tab M62 price in India, but we believe it will be an affordable device and will be positioned below the Galaxy Tab A-series tablets. While it’s not confirmed, the tablet may come with an Exynos chipset, 4G LTE connectivity, and at least 6GB RAM, and 256GB internal storage. Unfortunately, not much else is known about the Galaxy Tab M62 at the moment but it shouldn’t be long before more information surfaces online.
Separately, the Samsung Galaxy A52 4G variant was spotted on Geekbench recently with the model number SM-A525F. According to the listing, the phone will ship with Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC, 8GB RAM, and is expected to run Android 11 OS out of the box. The handset is expected to have a similar design as the Galaxy A52 5G model. This means it will come with a centre-aligned hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera and a rectangular rear camera module to house four camera sensors. The Samsung Galaxy A52 is said to sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED display, have an in-display fingerprint sensor, and measure 159.9 x 75.1 x 8.4mm.
