Nokia 5.3 With Quad Camera Setup and HD+ Display Launched in Nepal

HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, today announces the launch of Nokia 5.3 in Nepal. Featuring numerous Nokia smartphone firsts for exceptional value, the Nokia 5.3 features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 Mobile Platform, a quad-camera setup, and the signature two-day battery life.

The Nokia 5.3 has a durable yet stunning Nordic-inspired design. It comes with Android 10 and gives users faster access to Google Assistant via the dedicated button.

The Nokia 5.3 comes with a sleek glass front with a durable composite back that’s designed to honour its Nordic design heritage. The smartphone boasts a 6.55-inch HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and has a water-drop notch that houses an 8MP selfie shooter.

The Nokia 5.3 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 Mobile Platform – a first for a Nokia smartphone. The mid-range ARM-based SoC is paired with Adreno 610 GPU for rendering graphics.

Memory-wise, you can choose from three options – 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB. However, the onboard storage is just 64GB, which is expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card. In Nepal, only the 4GB/64GB variant is available for purchase as of now.

The Nokia 5.3 is the first Nokia 5 series smartphone to feature a quad-camera Oreo lens setup, which the company claims to deliver stunning photography experience. This device houses a total of 5 camera lenses.

The rear side Oreo lens setup comprises of a 13MP (wide) + 5MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (depth) lenses. The numbers on the main camera may look small but this smartphone has all the necessary lenses. With the quad rear camera, you can shoot videos at 1080p@30fps.

The Nokia 5.3 keeps getting better with two years of Android upgrades and three years of monthly security updates. It will also come ready for Android 11 and beyond. Pure Android delivers a software experience with a streamlined interface and no bloatware.
