POCO is reportedly in the works to bring about a new X-series smartphone to the market, dubbed the POCO X4 GT. So far, the brand has not said anything about the launch of the device, but leaks surrounding it have started popping up on the internet already. As it turns out, the POCO X4 GT device has been spotted on the IMEI database listing, which not only confirms its moniker, but also suggests an imminent launch. Furthermore, another report suggests that the serial production of the POCO X4 GT has already begun.
POCO X4 GT launch imminent
As seen in the IMEI database listing image above (shared by Xiaomiui), the POCO X4 GT (with the model number 22041216G) is seemingly in the works. The same source claims that the brand will also launch a POCO X4 GT+ device, the details of which, are pretty scarce for now.
That said, the model number of the POCO X4 GT matches with that of the upcoming Redmi Note 11T series, so we can expect the device to be a rebranded Redmi Note 11T series variant.
Additionally, tipster Mukul Sharma (stufflistings) has today claimed that the serial production of the POCO X4 GT has already begun in several Eurasian and Asian countries and the launch of the device is nearing.
The tipster has also revealed that the POCO X4 GT will feature 5G capabilities. It remains to be seen whether POCO plans on launching its POCO X4 GT in India or not.
POCO X4 GT specifications (expected)
As for the specifications, we can expect the POCO X4 GT to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB onboard storage, and a 4,980mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
