Explainer: What is Wi-Fi 7 and when it could arrive

Wi-Fi 7 is the next big thing in wireless connectivity and is currently under development. The wireless standard could, in theory, support a bandwidth of up to 330 Gigabits per second per access point which is over three times faster than the maximum 9.6 Gbps speed of the WiFi 6.
