Realme is among the most popular smartphone brands in India. Founded back in 2018 as an offshoot of the Chinese brand OPPO, the brand aims to provide affordable smartphones to young people around the world. As a result, Realme new mobile phones are looked upon by many. The company is known for launching a bunch of smartphones every year. It launched more than 20 mobile phones in 2021 and seems to be gearing up for even more for the year to come. Realme has already confirmed the launch of a handful of smartphones. Simultaneously, rumours of a bunch of other new Realme phones launching in 2022 have also been doing the rounds. Realme 9i
These numeric-series smartphones are confirmed to launch in India in 2022. It seems like before the handset hits the Indian shore, the company will test the smartphones globally. Realme has teased the launch of the Realme 9i in Vietnam. While there is no official date yet, rumours are rife that the upcoming Realme smartphone will be announced in the country on January 10th. The Realme 9i will come with vertical stripes on the back panel for a unique look, along with a rectangular module to house triple camera sensors and an LED flash. The phone will feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and come in blue colour, but there could be other options at launch.
As for the specifications, the Realme 9i is rumoured to include a 6.6-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the 16MP selfie snapper. The handset could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset with Adreno 610 GPU for graphics. The chipset will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that should be further expandable via a microSD card. The phone may have triple cameras on the back, with a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary lens, and a 2MP third sensor. It’s said to be driven by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Realme 9 Pro and Pro+/ Max
Realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro+/ Max variants are also expected to be part of the upcoming Realme 9 series. The handsets are expected to launch globally in February. As reported by 91mobiles, Realme 9 Pro and Pro+/ Max both have been approved for the European region. The handsets are likely to be 5G devices and could be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor and/or a MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor. That said, the Realme 9 Pro+ is rumoured to come with an AMOLED screen and Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. So take the news with a grain of salt. There are also some chances that the Realme 9 Pro+ might feature a 108MP main sensor.
Will there be a regular Realme 9 as well? Only, the time will tell.

Realme C35
Realme C35 is another smartphone that is expected to launch in India in 2022. This new Realme mobile phone has received EEC certificate with model number RMX3511. The handset is believed to be the successor of Realme C25 (review) that was launched in India back in September. There is no word on Realme C35 specifications and price in India yet.

Realme Narzo 50A Prime
Realme is also working on a new Narzo-series smartphone, called Narzo 50A Prime. The handset has been spotted on Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) with RMX3516 model number. The phone looks to be a refreshed version of Narzo 50 series, which was launched back in September. The Realme Narzo 50A Prime specifications remain under the wraps at the moment.

Realme GT 2 Pro
Realme GT 2 Pro, which was launched globally recently alongside Realme GT 2, seems to be heading to India soon. The handset has completed the Indian BIS certification process, which certainly hints that the launch of the device (or the series in general) in the country is close. The Realme G2 Pro is a flagship offering from the brand, with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor under the hood. The handset also packs a 6.67-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1,000Hz touch sampling rate. Other specs of Realme GT 2 Pro include 50MP triple rear cameras, 32MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. The Realme GT 2 Pro price in China starts at roughly Rs 43,400.
