Not too long ago, Realme unveiled its Realme GT 2 lineup of smartphones in China. The Realme GT 2 series consists of two devices – Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro. The Realme GT 2 Pro is the company’s newest ultra-premium offering and has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor under the hood. The device comes with a 120HZ WQHD+ AMOLED display and has a Paper Tech Master design, which makes it the world’s first device to come with such a rear panel. So far, the brand has not officially confirmed the Realme GT 2 series launch date in India, but we suspect the arrival is imminent now. We have spotted the Realme GT 2 Pro on the Indian BIS certification website, which certainly hints that the launch of the device (or the series in general) in the country is close.
Realme GT 2 Pro bags BIS certification
As seen in the image above, the Realme GT 2 Pro (with the model number Realme RMX3301) has completed the Indian BIS certification, which potentially hints that the launch of the device in India must not be too far away from now. Additionally, the brand has also been dropping hints about the imminent arrival of the Realme GT 2 lineup in India, so it’s safe to assume that we might soon hear more about the launch from the brand. As for the BIS listing, sadly enough, it does not tell us anything else about the device. That being said, we can expect the device to come with the same specifications and features as its Chinese counterpart.
Realme GT 2 Pro specifications
