OnePlus Nord 2 CE, which is internally being called OnePlus Ivan, has been in the rumour mill for the past few days. We exclusively revealed the OnePlus Nord 2 CE specifications and that it will arrive in India and Europe in Q1 2022. 91mobiles now brings you your very first look at the OnePlus Nord 2 CE in the form of renders in association with noted tipster Yogesh Brar. These images show that the design of the phone is almost similar to the Nord 2, except for the rear camera arrangement. The OnePlus Nord 2 CE will also retain the 3.5mm audio jack.
OnePlus Nord 2 CE design
OnePlus Nord 2 CE can be seen in a grey colour option, but there could be other options at launch. Since there’s no cutout for the fingerprint sensor, it could be placed within the display, meaning it’ll have an AMOLED panel.
Front: On the front, it has a punch-hole cutout on the front for the selfie snapper and slim bezels. The phone has a flat screen and the top bezel has a speaker grille.
Right+Left: The volume rocker (up and down buttons) is on the left, while the power button is placed on the right.
Rear: On the back, there’s a rectangular module to house triple camera lenses (two large and one regular-sized sensor) and an LED flash and OnePlus logo.
Top+bottom: The top houses a secondary microphone for noise cancellation, while the bottom edge houses a 3.5mm, USB Type-C port, speaker grille and a primary microphone.
OnePlus Nord 2 CE specifications
OnePlus Nord 2 CE specifications include a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is said to have a triple camera setup on the back, with a 64MP primary OmniVision sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats and a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
The handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G processor paired with up to 8/12GB RAM and 256GB storage that will be expandable. It is likely to boot Android 12-based OxygenOS 12 custom skin out of the box. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual SIM, microSD card slot, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
