Samsung has revealed the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update roadmap in India through the Samsung Members app. It shows that Samsung customers in India can expect the One UI 4.0 update starting from December. The Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Z Fold 3 will be the first to get the Android 12 update in the country. If everything goes according to the plan, users will receive the Android 12 update notification next month. However, Samsung says there are chances the availability is subject to change, probably because of any last-minute bugs.

In addition to the aforementioned phones, the Samsung Galaxy S20, S20 Plus, S20 Ultra, Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy S10, S10e, S10+, S10 Lite, Galaxy Note 20, Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, Note 10 Lite, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Fold, and Galaxy Z Fold 2 will also get the update. Samsung will also push the One UI 4.0 to tablets, mid-range, and entry-level phones in the Galaxy A/M/F series from February 2022.
The schedule revealed via the Samsung Members app is limited to India only, though it coincides with others markets. This means the update rollout differs from market to market. In line with that, the One UI 4.0 update is launching a bit sooner in some regions. The company is already rolling out Android 12 for the Galaxy S21 series in countries like the USA and in Europe. The Galaxy S10 series will receive Android 12 in December in some regions. Samsung laid out the roadmap for India to its devices up to July 2022. So in the next 6-7 month span, Samsung will release the One UI 4.0 update to most eligible phones and tablets.
