Redmi Note 8 gets Android 11 update in India, but the next one can be the last major update for this device

This device initially came with Android Pie layered with MIUI 10 on top and even got the Android 10 update. The users of this device in regions like India have waited over 9 months for the Android 11 update whereas the same update was rolled out in China earlier this year.
