After the launch of PUBG New State, many players have quickly started using unauthorized third-party apps to cheat in the game. Just like every other shooter, players have been frustrated by cheaters in less than a month after launch. Krafton has started working on reducing the instances of cheating by pushing a new anti-cheat update for PUBG New State. The update is currently live on Android, and it will roll out for iOS soon. Android users have to download the new update in order to play the game. Players who download the update will be rewarded with 3 Chicken Medals, which will can be claimed from the Mail section of PUBG New State.

Krafton has also released a statement explaining their approach to the rising instances of cheating in PUBG New State. The developer has implemented enhanced measures to identify unauthorized third-party programs in real time. It will also look for potential loopholes that can be exploited to develop even more advanced third-party programs for cheating. Similar to other multiplayer games, Krafton will have to evolve their anti-cheat approach over time. Even after being banned from the game, PUBG New State players can create new accounts and use different methods to cheat. As the anti-cheat team discovers a way to detect and restrict these unauthorized apps, developers and sellers of these tools keep finding new ways to bypass the anti-cheat systems. The only way to tackle this issue is by looking for what kind of loopholes can be exploited and fixing such weaknesses as soon as possible.
