Motorola launched the Moto E30 in select markets in Europe. This new offering by Motorola uses the same hardware as that of the Moto E40. The only difference between the two smartphones is the presence of Android Go on the Moto E30. This is important as Moto E30 only comes with a 2GB RAM option. The Moto E30 comes with a hole-punch display design, triple rear cameras, and a massive 5,000mAh battery. Moto E30 is also based on Google’s streamlined Android Go platform, with Android 11 which is also there in Moto E20. Moto E30 specifications, features
The dual-SIM (Nano) Moto E30 features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) Max Vision IPS display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T700 chipset, along with a single 2GB of RAM option. It has a pixel density of 268 PPI. The handset also has a dedicated microSD card slot.
The Moto E30 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and supports charging speeds of only 10W. The device comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint reader and a water repellent design with IP52 certification. The smartphone is made out of plastic and weighs about 198g. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, and a proximity sensor. There is no support for the Gyroscope sensor.
Moto E30 price, availability
The Moto E30 is priced at COP 529,900 (roughly Rs. 10,200) for the single 2GB+32GB storage variant. The phone is available for purchase in some South American regions including Colombia and Slovakia in Blue and Urban Grey colour options.
It’s also listed on Lenovo’s UK website without any price information. The Aldi Belgium website, though, lists the device at EUR 100. There is no further information about its global availability, so we may need to wait some more time for an Indian launch.
