Moto Tab G70 with MediaTek Helio G70 processor visits Geekbench and Google Play Console listing

Highlights
  • Motorola Moto Tab G70 is reportedly in the works.
  • The brand’s upcoming tablet has popped up on Geekbench and Google Play Console listing, revealing crucial information.
  • The listings also suggest an imminent launch.

Not too long ago, Motorola launched its Motorola Moto Tab G20 and now, the brand is seemingly in the works to bring about yet another G-series tablet, which will be dubbed the Moto Tab G70. While there’s been no official word about the tablet from Motorola so far, the Moto Tab G70 has been making rounds on the internet lately, courtesy of the various certifications it has been spotted on in the past couple of days. The most prominent listings, among others, are the Geekbench listing and the Google Play Console listing for the Moto Tab G70, which not only reveal a lot of crucial information about the upcoming tablet but also hint that the launch date must be approaching. Take a look at the Geekbench database listing and the Google Play Console listing for the Moto Tab G70 and find out what they have in store for us.

Moto Tab G70 specifications and image emerge

As seen in the pictures above, this is what the Moto Tab G70 will look like. The tablet will have a considerable amount of bezels all around and will come with a preferred landscape orientation. The front camera has also been positioned accordingly. That being said, we have to inform our readers that the product images on Google Search Console listings are sometimes mere placeholder, so the end product might vary when it comes to looks (and, sometimes, even specifications).

Moving on, the Moto Tab G70 will feature a 2,000 x 1,200 pixel display, which resonates to around a 10-inch or 11-inch screen size. Under the hood, the Moto Tab G70 will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Kompanio 500 (MT8183) chipset (as per Google Play Console listing)/a MediaTek Helio G90T chipset (as per Geekbench). This discrepancy is here to stay till the time we hear something from the brand, but given the benchmark scores the Moto Tab G70 has pulled off, the presence of MediaTek Helio G90T in the Moto Tab G70 will be highly likely. Once again, GPC listings often get the processor details wrong, so it should not come as a surprise anyway. Furthermore, the Moto Tab G70 will feature 4GB of RAM and Android 11 OS out of the box. We can expect a clean Android experience with the brand’s upcoming tablet.
