Should you buy Jio Phone Next?

The Jio Phone Next is reportedly seeing a lot of interest and positive responses from potential buyers. The biggest attractive feature is that the phone can be bought by paying an upfront amount of Rs 1,999 only. The rest can be paid through EMI plans that will also include data benefits for Jio users. Do consider that you will end up paying effectively more for the Jio Phone Next with EMI plans compared to buying the Jio Phone Next at Rs 6,499 and using standalone recharge plans. Also, if you plan to buy the phone at its actual cost of Rs 6,499, there are several other phones in the segment that are worth considering instead.
