Motorola has announced the launch of Motorola Edge 20 Pro, the latest addition to its edge family, that comes with their most advanced super zoom camera system that captures pictures with a 108 MP ultra high-res camera featuring Ultra Pixel technology and records video in 8K, the highest resolution possible on a smartphone.
Motorola Edge 20 Pro also features a 10-bit AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate DCI-P3 color, HDR10+ and an low latency 576 Hz touch rate that automatically turns on when playing a game. This made-in-India addition to the edge franchise also comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 processor, 11 5G Network Bands, Motorola’s differentiated Ready For software experience, sleek glass plus metal design and more.

Motorola Edge 20 Pro Specifications and Features
The Motorola Edge 20 Pro boasts a 6.7-inch 10-bit 144Hz FullHD+ AMOLED display with HDR10+ and with a punch hole in the center for the 32MP selfie camera. The screen doesn’t have a fingerprint reader underneath. Instead, it’s embedded in the power button located on the right-side frame.
The Motorola Edge 20 Pro’s rear panel features the signature Motorola logo and sports a rectangular camera island consisting of 108 megapixel primary, 16 megapixel ultrawide, and 8 megapixel periscope telephoto units.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G SoC with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. The Edge 20 Pro has more memory options in other markets, but Motorola told us it currently has no plans to offer those in India. However, Flipkart’s promo page does mention 256GB storage, so we may see that coming soon.
On the software side, we get the latest Android 11, and Motorola has promised to release Android 12 and 13 when available while also guaranteeing two years of security patches. The smartphone also comes with the Ready For and ThinkShield for Mobile suites.
The Motorola Edge 20 Pro is IP52 rated, supports 11 5G bands, Wi-Fi 6, and has an NFC chip onboard. It packs a 4,500 mAh battery that draws power through a USB-C port at up to 30W.

Available in two beautiful colours – Midnight Sky, and Iridescent Cloud the motorola edge 20 pro will be available for pre-orders on Flipkart during the Big Billion Days sale, 3rd October 2021 onwards.
