This will allow users to convert their existing Hero Splendor petrol model into an electric one. The EV conversion kit for the Splendor is said to be approved by the RTO. It comes with a three years warranty and reportedly offers up to 151km range on a single charge. The company has claimed that the modified Hero Splendor electric version will have a top speed of 80km/hr. Additionally, the kit has been tested against water, which means that it should survive under the rain as well.
