Realme Book Slim India launch date has been revealed after multiple teasers. It is a brand new segment for the company and the laptop will look to take on RedmiBook notebooks that debuted in India earlier this month. The Realme Book Slim will launch in India on August 18th at 12:30 PM IST and the event will be live-streamed through the company’s YouTube and social media channels. The company will also unveil the Realme GT and GT master Edition phones on the same stage. The teaser poster suggests the laptop will be slim and a couple of USB Type-C ports can be seen as well. The Realme Book Slim will be available via Flipkart as it’s listed on the e-commerce platform.

Interestingly, Realme will be unveiling the Realme Book laptop in China on the same day and has posted a teaser image that confirms the display specifications. It’s possible the Realme Book in China could be the Realme Book Slim in India but there are chances both could be completely different models. The Realme Book will sport a 2K display with 2160 x 1440 pixels resolution, 3:2 aspect ratio, and 100 percent sRGB colour gamut. The promotional images show the laptop will have a large trackpad, a webcam on the top bezel, and the Realme logo on the bottom bezel. It has slim bezels around the display and a 3.5mm audio jack and USB A port on the right spine. The design is largely inspired by Apple MacBooks, thanks to its aluminium body and silver colour option.
According to rumoured specifications, the Realme Book Slim is said to sport a 14-inch 2K display with up to 300nits peak brightness. It is said to be powered by the 11th gen Core i5-1135G7 Tiger Lake processor with Intel Xe graphics, 16GB RAM and 512GB PCIe storage. Ports on board include USB 3.2 Gen 1, 2x USB C 3.1 ports, 3.5mm audio jack, and a fingerprint sensor. The laptop is said to weigh 1.3kgs and pack a 54Wh battery with support for 65W fast charging.
