Sony has updated its VAIO laptop lineup in India with the new VAIO SE14 and VAIO SX14. The new laptops will be available for purchase via Amazon India, and sold by the computer technology firm Nexstgo. The Hong Kong-based company has licensed the VAIO name in India. The new VAIO laptops get the latest hardware, such as 11th gen Intel Core processors, and offer features such as a 4K display, full HD web cameras, long battery life, and SuperFin cooling technology.
Sony VAIO SE14 and VAIO SX14 prices in India
The VAIO SE14 is the cheaper variant between the newly released models and starts at Rs 88,990. Sony or Nexstgo haven’t given any details regarding the pricing for other variants with more RAM or storage. The VAIO SX14 is a premium high-end laptop that starts at Rs 1,72,990. Once again, pricing for different storage/RAM models hasn’t been disclosed yet. The colour options also remain a mystery at the moment. The laptops are said to be available on Amazon India very soon.
Sony VAIO SE14 and SX14 specifications
Both the VAIO SE14 and SX14 will be available with the latest 11th gen Intel Core processors, with the latter offering i7 variants. The laptops also come with SuperFin technology for improved cooling and airflow, power-saving features, TPM 2.0, BIOS security, Chassis Lock slot, and a bunch of I/O ports.
The VAIO SE14 has a simple design with a metal chassis and plastic outers. This laptop has a claimed battery life of up to 12 hours, gets Iris Xe integrated graphics, Thunderbolt 4 ports, and a high-resolution 1080p IR-enabled web camera.
On the other hand, the VAIO SX14 is a more expensive ultrabook laptop. It comes with a Carbon LCD Cover design, which makes it lighter and more durable. The laptop gets Intel Core i7 processors, 14-inch 4K Ultra HD display, and Dolby Audio speakers. It features multiple connection ports and offers a long battery life. The fine-tuned keyboard reduces typing noise and the laptop houses 1TB of storage.
