OPPO Reno 6 series is said to launch quite soon and will replace the Reno 5 lineup. The Reno 6 Pro and Reno 6 Pro+ have recently received 3C and TENAA certifications, revealing quite a bit about their hardware. Now, noted tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo speculates the vanilla Reno 6 (PEQM00) model will come with the unannounced MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC which might have a model number MT6877. The chipset is said to be manufactured using a 6nm process and has four A78 cores. Furthermore, the tipster says the testing unit powered by the Dimensity 900 has managed to score 480,000 points in a benchmarking test.

OPPO Reno 6 price tipped
According to Digital Chat Station, the OPPO Reno 6 price is said to be around RMB 2,500 (around Rs 28,600). This means it will be expensive than the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 powered Redmi K40 Enhanced Edition that is sold at RMB 2,399 (approx Rs 27,400) in China.

According to the OPPO Reno 6 (PEQM00) TENAA certifications, it is said to come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, probably with an FHD+ resolution, punch-hole design, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device might ship with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage that may be further expandable. It is likely to boot Android 11-based ColorOS custom skin out of the box. Connectivity features may include 5G/4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
Moving to cameras, the Reno 6 has a 64MP primary main camera and a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. The phone may feature a 4,400mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support. We should learn more about the OPPO Reno 6 going forward.
