Samsung is working on a budget A-series smartphone with 5G connectivity, dubbed, the Galaxy A22 5G. The smartphone has been in the news since December last year. So far, the Galaxy A22 5G has been leaked through a few benchmarking and certification platforms including Geekbench, Wi-FI Alliance, and Google Play Console. Moreover, 91Mobiles had exclusively revealed some Galaxy A22 5G renders last week. Fortunately for us, the Galaxy A22 5G has been spotted once again. This time on the Bluetooth SIG certification platform. Let us have a look at what does it reveal.

Galaxy A22 5G leaked on Bluetooth SIG
The Galaxy A22 5G was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification platform earlier today by MySmartPrice. The listing of the smartphone on the certification platform reveals that the Galaxy A22 5G has Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity. But that is hardly a surprise as most smartphones nowadays have this feature.
The Bluetooth SIG certification of the Galaxy A22 5G lists a total of six model numbers of the smartphone, SM-A226B-DS, SM-A226B-DSN, SM-A226B, SM-A226BR-DSN, SM-A226BR-N. These model numbers could belong to various configurations of the smartphone or could be related to country-specific models.
Whatever the case, the fact that the Galaxy A22 5G has been certified through the Bluetooth SIG certification platform suggests that the launch of the smartphone is inching closer. While there is no information regarding the Galaxy A22 5G India launch date, it is expected to come as the most affordable 5G from the brand in its A-series.

The Google Play Console listing of the Galaxy A22 5G reveals that the smartphone will come with a Full HD+ display. The Geekbench listing of the smartphone reveals that it will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, 6GB of RAM, and the Android 11 operating system. Our exclusive renders show that the Galaxy A22 5G will have a triple-camera setup at the rear and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
