Highlights
  • OnePlus Watch is receiving a new OTA update that brings Always-On Display, remote control camera, and marathon workout
  • The OnePlus Watch OTA update will be made available to a small percentage of users first and then it will be rolled out to everyone in the next few days

OnePlus Watch is receiving a new OTA update ‘B.48’ that brings the much-needed Always-on Display feature to show time and other critical information such as steps walked, calories burned, etc without turning on the display each time. The brand says that by enabling the Always-On Display, the OnePlus Watch screen will remain on constantly and this will lead to increased power consumption. In return, the battery life will be reduced by about half. The OnePlus Watch OTA update will be made available to a small percentage of users first and then it will be rolled out to everyone in the next few days.

In addition to Always-On Display, the OnePlus Watch OTA update brings remote control camera function that lets you click pictures directly from the smartwatch. It adds marathon workout, optimises system UI details, fixes known issues, and improves system stability. As we mentioned, the OnePlus Watch OTA update should reach everyone in the next few days.
