Android 12 beta 1 is already available to the Pixel series of phones, including the Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 3a, Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5. So, if you have any of the mentioned phones, you can flash the latest Android OS and try out new features. You can head over to the links of respective phones to download the Android 12 beta ROM. The links also include flashing instructions but we advise you to proceed with caution as the OS is still in the beta stage and might not be suitable for a daily driver. However, most of the devices seem to be offering a rollback option, so you can roll back to a stable Android 11 build if you’re not satisfied with Android 12 beta ROM.
So far these phones are confirmed to get Android 12 beta 1 update but HMD Global has mentioned it will seed the stable update to Nokia X20 in the second half of this year. Sharp has confirmed it will push the Android 12 beta update but is yet to reveal which models will be receiving it. Though OnePlus had released Android 12 beta 1 builds for OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, the company has temporarily withdrawn from the beta program owing to user reports of the build bricking their devices. We hope it will resume once it irons out the issues.
