Samsung has scheduled the ‘Galaxy Awesome Unpacked’ event for March 17th at 10 AM ET (8:30 pm IST). While the company didn’t reveal what the event is about, we speculate it is for the Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 launch. To recall, it was tipped earlier this week that the Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 launch date would be March 17th. Recent leaks have revealed quite a bit about the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 specifications, design, and alleged pricing. The phones are tipped to come in 4G and 5G variants and with up to a 120Hz refresh rate.

Samsung Galaxy A52 And Galaxy A72 specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A52 may feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The 4G model is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage. The 5G model is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 750G SoC.
Moving to cameras, the Samsung Galaxy A52 will reportedly feature a quad-camera setup at the back with a 64MP primary sensor, a 12MP secondary lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. The phone may come with a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. The Galaxy A52 is likely to run Android 11-based OneUI 3.1 custom skin out of the box and house a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast-charging support.
The Samsung Galaxy A72 is tipped to flaunt a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The handset will be powered by the same chipset as the Galaxy A52 paired with similar 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that could be further expandable. The phone will have a quad-camera setup at the back with similar specs as the Galaxy A52. Samsung Galaxy A72 is said to feature a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.

The Samsung Galaxy A52 price is said to be between VND 9.3 million and 9.5 million (around Rs 30,000) for the 4G model. The 5G model is said to be priced at VND 11 million (approx Rs 35,000). The Samsung Galaxy A72 price is tipped as €449 (~Rs 39,800) for the 4G and 128GB model. While the 256GB model price is said to be around €509 (~Rs 45,200).
