Google Pixel 5a launch date is June 11th, as per a new report. Details about the phone are still scarce, but we have seen what it will look like thanks to some leaked render images. Last week, tipster Jon Prosser revealed that Google will be holding an event on June 11th to announce a new Pixel device. In his latest tweet, he confirms that the Google Pixel 5a will be the phone launching on June 11th. He also believes that the company will release new Pixel Buds in mid-April. A separate report states that Google Pixel 6 will feature a centre punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

Google Pixel 5a launch date

The Google Pixel 5a launch event is reportedly scheduled for June 11th. The information comes from Twitter user Jon Prosser, who has been quite accurate with most of his leaks. Compared to the Pixel 4a, the Google Pixel 5a is expected to be faster. Although we don’t know a lot about the new Pixel phone, another report states that the phone will get a smaller punch-hole cutout compared to the ones seen on other Pixel phones so far.

According to this report, the cutout for the selfie camera on the Google Pixel 5a will be a 55-pixel radius instead of 65 pixel on the Pixel 4a. The same report also reveals some camera details on the Pixel 6. As per some code discovered on the latest Google Camera app, the Pixel 6 could feature a centre punch-hole camera. The radius of the cutout is said to be smaller, in the same lines as the Pixel 5a. The selfie unit may also have the ability to shoot at 4k resolution. The current Pixel lineup only allows for recording up to 1080p on the front camera, so this would be a welcome upgrade.
