Xiaomi is all set to launch some new audio products into the Indian market on February 22nd at 12pm. The information comes via a teaser put out by the official Xiaomi Twitter handle. While there is little information about what will be unveiled that day, Xiaomi VP Manu Kumar Jain hints that there will be two products in store for us. If last year’s release cycle is anything to go by, we’re probably looking at a pair of TWS earbuds and a Bluetooth speaker. In all likelihood, this could be when Xiaomi unveils the Mi True Wireless Earphones Air 2 Pro in India.
Mi True Wireless Earphones Air 2 Pro expected price in India
The Mi True Wireless Earphones Air 2 Pro is a landmark product for Xiaomi, as it is the first-ever by the brand to offer ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) support. The headphones were launched in China in October 2020 and are finally making their way to Indian shores. However, its name is a little too long to roll off the tongue smoothly and we hope that Xiaomi makes it a little less convoluted. The Mi True Wireless Earphones Air 2 Pro price in China is set at RMB 699 (~Rs 7,600). We can expect its price in India to be similar to that amount.

The Mi True Wireless Earphones Air 2 Pro comes with a 12mm dynamic coil that can reduce up to 35dB of noise. Like similarly-specced offerings from OPPO, the earbuds can seamlessly switch between ANC mode and ambient mode to listen to their surroundings. ANC functionality is made possible via a three-microphone array that also helps with call noise reduction, voice wake-up. Its 100ms latency ensures that it can be used for gaming.
Another interesting about the Mi True Wireless Earphones Air 2 Pro feature is its infrared sensor, which enables intelligent wear detection. It is also possible to change volume and track via touch. The TWS earbuds support fast charging over a Type-C port. Xiaomi claims that the Mi True Wireless Earphones Air 2 Pro can output up to 90 minutes of audio on a single ten0minute charge. Up to five hours of battery life is promised on a single charge with ANC functionality enabled.
