POCO M3 price in India was announced earlier this month and the smartphone went on sale for the very first time on February 9th via Flipkart. Although it took POCO nearly three months to bring the entry-level POCO M3 to India, it seems the device has been very well-received by the market. POCO has announced that it sold over 1,50,000 units of POCO M3 in the first sale. It is quite impressive for a single-platform sale, and we can expect that number to rise significantly once the POCO M3 is available on additional platforms. The company added that it has received a ‘phenomenal response’ from customers, with over 30 lakh consumers expressing interest in purchasing the new POCO phone.

Those who missed their chance at getting their hands on the POCO phone during the first sale can try again when the next POCO M3 sale in India takes place on February 16th at 12 noon on Flipkart.
POCO M3 specifications
To recall, the POCO M3 comes with a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with a waterdrop-style notch that houses the phone’s 8MP selfie camera. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset, along with 6GB RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It is worth noting that the variant with 64GB of internal storage follows a slightly slower UFS 2.1 standard.
On the battery side things, the POCO M3 comes with a colossal 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The smartphone’s triple-camera system includes a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. Other POCO M3 features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 802.11 b/g/n WI-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone also comes with stereo speakers, a headphone jack, and an IR blaster.
