A new smartphone from Vivo has been launched in India today, and it offers mid-range hardware at under Rs 20,000. The Vivo Y31 is part of the company’s youth series and features a large battery, full HD+ display, and a triple rear camera setup. This phone is equipped with a Snapdragon 600-series processor, which offers ample performance for everyday use. The device will be available in a single configuration in India and can be purchased via most online and retail outlets. The Chinese manufacturer also recently launched the Vivo Y12s in India, a budget youth series phone that gets a 5,000mAh battery and is priced under Rs 10,000.

Vivo Y31 price in India
Vivo will sell only one variant of the new phone in the country, which comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The Vivo Y31 price in India has been set at Rs 16,490. You will be able to purchase the phone from most online and offline retail stores such as Amazon India, Flipkart, Paytm, Vivo India e-store, and others. It will be available in two colour options – Racing Black and Ocean Blue.

The Vivo Y31 is a mid-range smartphone that’s equipped with the Snapdragon 662 processor. This chipset is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB of onboard memory. It comes with a 6.58-inch IPS display that offers an FHD+ resolution and features a waterdrop notch that houses a 16-megapixel selfie camera. At the rear, there’s a triple camera setup with a main 48-megapixel sensor and dual 2-megapixel units for depth and night mode.
The camera gets electronic image stabilisation, portrait mode, a Super night mode, and other features. This phone also houses a large 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. In terms of software, you get the latest Android 11 based Funtouch OS 11 out of the box.
