OPPO Enco X TWS earbuds with Active Noise Cancelling launching in India on January 18th

Highlights
  • OPPO Enco X India launch is set for January 18th
  • Some key OPPO Enco X specifications include Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Bluetooth 5.2 support, 47ms latency, and four hours of battery life
  • OPPO Enco X price in India is expected to be around Rs 11,000

The OPPO Enco X India launch date has been confirmed as January 18th by the company. The TWS earbuds will be unveiled alongside the OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G. OPPO Enco X is one of the company’s better-specced audio products. It comes with a host of impressive features such as customisable Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which allows users to fine-tune the amount of noise being cancelled via four dedicated modes, namely Max Noise Cancellation, Noise Cancellation, Transparency, and Noise Cancellation Off. OPPO has also worked with Danish high-fidelity audio brand Dynaudio to develop the earbuds. If the Chinese pricing is anything to go by, the OPPO Enco X price in India will be around Rs 11,000.

Key OPPO Enco X specifications include 11mm dynamic drivers and 6mm balanced membrane drivers. There are two dedicated microphones for active noise cancellation and three microphones for call noise reduction. The TWS earbuds support Bluetooth 5.2 and support LHDC, AAC, and SBC audio codecs, with no sign of Qualcomm aptX anywhere. That is a bit surprising, given the OPPO Enco X’s price. At the very least, you get IP54 dust and water resistance. Furthermore, its 47ms should make it an excellent choice for gamers.

OPPO claims that the OPPO Enco X’s 44mAh battery can provide up to four hours of music playtime in Max Noise Cancellation mode. That number goes up to 20 hours with the charging case, which has a 535mAh battery. Switching off ANC should get you 5.5 hours of playtime; 25 hours with the case. The lack of fast charging support means that the earphones and case take 80 minutes and 110 minutes to charge, respectively.
