A mystery Realme phone with model number RMX3092 has appeared on Geekbench V4.4 platform; the smartphone is speculated to be the Realme 8, successor to the current Realme 7. The new Geekbench listing suggests the Realme 8 specifications will include 8GB RAM, Android 10 OS, and the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset clocked at 2GHz. Since the Geekbench listing doesn’t explicitly specify the handset is Realme 8, there’s a chance it could be Pro model as well. To recall, Realme RMX3092, alongside the RMX3093, bagged China’s 3C certification recently, suggesting the company may be in the final leg of development.
Realme RMX3092 3C listing suggested the phone will have 65W fast-charging support, just like the predecessor. The handset has also received the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), which means it will definitely launch in India as well. While it can’t be said for certain when the alleged Realme 8 will launch, the company seems to have a bunch of phones lined up for early 2021 release, including the Realme X7 series, Narzo 30 lineup (comprising three models0, Realme Q2, Realme Race, Realme Koi aka Realme V15, among others. Separately, Realme Koi aka V15 live images surfaced online alongside some specifications. The handset has triple cameras at the back arranged in a rectangular module and a glossy finish with ‘Dare to Leap’ tagline etched on the back. The volume rocker is on the left, while the power button is placed on the right. Key specifications of Realme Koi (V15) include Mediatek Dimensity 800U chipset, 50W fast-charging support and 64MP primary camera. The phone is said to weigh 176 grams.
