An upcoming Nokia smartphone with model number TA-1322 has surfaced on the website of certification agency FCC in the US. This is the second such listing for the handset, which was previously spotted on a Russian certification website a few days ago. This suggests that the smartphone’s launch is just around the corner. The marketing name of the Nokia TA-1322 remains a mystery at the moment; however, going by the FCC listing, it could be a variant of the upcoming Nokia 7.3 5G smartphone. The listing also reveals the Nokia TA-1322 specifications and design. The handset will flaunt a circular camera module, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and 4,000mAh battery; incidentally, these specifications are rumoured for Nokia 7.3 5G as well. Additionally, the phone will also highlight LTE, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi 2.4GHz.
If the Nokia TA-1322 is indeed a variant of Nokia 7.3 5G, it could be powered by the 5G-capable Snapdragon 690 SoC. The handset may also come with a punch-hole design, a 6.5-inch FHD+ HDR PureDisplay, 48MP quad camera setup, and 24MP selfie camera. The Nokia 7.3 5G was rumoured to launch by the “end of 2020”, alongside Nokia 6.3 and flagship Nokia 9.3 PureView. However, it seems like the phone will not see the light of the day until next year.
As for Nokia 6.3, it’s rumoured to sport Snapdragon 730 SoC and Zeiss branded quad-cameras with a 24MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a macro lens. The Nokia 9.3 PureView, on the other hand, is rumoured to highlight a 6.29-inch Quad HD+ P-OLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor and 120Hz refresh rate. The phone may rock Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC under the hood, stock Android 11 OS, and 108MP camera setup. There could also be a 48MP front-facing camera, 4,500mAh battery with fast-wired and Qi wireless charging support.
