Moto G Play (2021) specifications have been spotted on the Google Play Console listing ahead of the phone’s launch. The listing, spotted by MySmartPrice, reveals key Moto G Play (2021) specs, including the chipset, display, and RAM. This comes after the phone, which is codenamed ‘Guamna’, was spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking site in November. The Moto G Play (2021) specifications that have been spotted on the Googe Play Console listing are in line with the Geekbench data, which seems to confirm what the phone will offer. The device is yet to get a launch date, but we expect it to arrive in early 2021.

As per the listing, Moto G Play (2021) specifications will include the Qualcomm SM4250 chipset, which is the codename for the Snapdragon 460 chipset. This is in line with the Geekbench listing as well where it was speculated to be the Snapdragon 460 SoC. Additionally, the phone will come with 3GB RAM, an HD+ (720×1600) display, and Android 10 OS. The latter suggests the Moto G Play (2021) launch will be sooner rather than later.
A render of the phone was also spotted on the listing, revealing a traditional waterdrop notch and a thick chin bezel. Going by the specs revealed so far, we are looking at an entry-level smartphone, but it’s unclear whether Motorola will launch this in India. Other features about the device, including the rear camera setup, are still a mystery at the moment.
Moto G Play (2021) launch date is yet to be announced but we expect the smartphone to release in early 2021. To recall, the company recently released the Moto G9 Power with a 6,000mAh battery, 64MP triple cameras, and Snapdragon 662 SoC. The smartphone has been priced at Rs 11,999 and is on sale on Flipkart.
