Instagram may charge its users to put links in captions of their posts

According to a patent application discovered by Protocol, the company is expiring the idea of enabling link in posts in place of captions by charging users $2 (approximately Rs 145). As per the report, when a user will paste a link in the caption, the app will show a pop-up that will ask them to pay the amount to “activate the link.”
