March went by quite busy with consecutive smartphone launches, starting with the Vivo V27 series to the Redmi Note 12 4G and Redmi 12C. Besides official confirmations, there have been multiple rumours regarding the phones that will be debuting this month both in India and globally. With this, April is turning out to be even busier by the day. In this article. we will be taking a look at the phones that will be launching in the month of April. Let’s get going.
Phones launching in April
Realme GT Neo 5 SE (China)
Realme is the first brand to launch a phone in the month of April. The brand is gearing up to introduce the Realme GT Neo 5 SE in China on April 3rd. Like the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, the handset will ship with the newly announced Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 SoC. The handset will arrive as a sub-variant to the original Realme GT Neo 5. The handset is expected to come with a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with up to 144Hz refresh rate, and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
The Realme phone will have triple camera sensors on the back, with a 64MP Omnivision OV64M sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP GC02M macro camera. There is a 16MP front camera. There will be a large 5500mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging.
POCO F5 (India)
POCO F5 is rumoured to be a rebrand of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo that launched in China recently. The handset is expected to launch in India as the company had officially started teasing a new phone launch. We have exclusively reported that the phone will debut in the country on April 6th. If it’s indeed a rebrand, POCO F5 is expected to sport a 6.67-inch QHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,400 nits brightness, HDR10+ support, and 1,920Hz PWM dimming. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset.
There will be triple cameras on the back, with a 50MP primary shooter and an 8MP and 2MP secondary shooter. The phone could house a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calls. There will be a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite (India)
OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite will arrive in India on April 4th alongside the Nord Buds 2 TWS. The phone is expected to come with a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 1080 X 2400 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC paired with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage that might be further expandable.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is expected to feature triple cameras on the back, with a 108MP primary camera, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro unit. There will be a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video calls. Lastly, the OnePlus phone is tipped to arrive with a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
Redmi Note 12 series (Malaysia)
Redmi Note 12 launched in China, globally and in India also. Now, the company is gearing up to introduce the phones in Malaysia on April 5th. The brand should be debuting the 5G models in the country. There will be at least three models: Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro, and probably the Redmi Note 12 Pro+. The top-end variant in the lineup is expected to come with a 200MP primary camera, which is a first for the budget segment. The Redmi Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+ feature the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC.

ASUS ROG Phone 7 (global)
Last on the list is the ASUS ROG Phone 7. The new gaming lineup is set to debut on April 13th. The new series of gaming phones might come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC paired with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The recently leaked live image of the ROG Phone 7 shows the design will be almost similar to the predecessor. The back of the phone is where you find the RGB lighting and the front is pretty routine with sizeable bezels above and below the screen, with the top one housing the selfie shooter. There will also be a Pro version, which should come with superior internal hardware.
