After teasing it for a couple of weeks, Realme has finally confirmed the launch date of its upcoming Realme GT Neo 5 SE smartphone. The Realme GT Neo 5 SE will launch in China on April 3rd, 2023. The brand confirmed the launch date of the device via its official Weibo handles. The promotional poster confirming the launch date of the device also showcases its design.
Furthermore, the Realme GT Neo 5 SE has also been spotted on the AnTuTu benchmarking database website ahead of launch, which reveals its key specifications. Let’s take a look.
Realme GT Neo 5 SE design
As seen in the promotional poster above, this is what the Realme GT Neo 5 SE will look like. The device will feature a triple rear camera setup and a vertically aligned LED flash at the back. The camera setup will sit inside a large rectangular module. The rear of the device will also feature the brand’s iconic vertical stripes. The right side of the device will make room for the power button, which, by its looks, appears to be solving just one purpose and won’t double as the fingerprint scanner. This leads us to believe that the Realme GT Neo 5 SE will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. Lastly, the promo poster confirms that the Realme GT Neo 5 SE will launch in China on April 3rd.
Realme GT Neo 5 SE specifications
Moving on to its AnTuTu listing, the Realme GT Neo 5 SE (with the model number Realme RMX3700) has managed to pull off an impressive total of 1009127 points on the AnTuTu platform. The listing also confirms that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor (which was pretty much known anyway), which will be paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to a whopping 1TB internal storage.
Other key specifications of the device include Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0, a potential 120Hz/144Hz refresh rate AMOLED panel, and, possibly, a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
